My dog - Dasido

I'm a big boy now!

LOOK AT ME!

Look at my big boy underwear! Now I'm JUST LIKE DADDY! I don't want to wear diapers anymore. It's only been two days, but so far so good - minus two accidents. Because I'm a big boy who uses the potty now, mommy bought me a fire truck.

Back in LA

Here I am at JFK international airport at the business class check-in area. I fell asleep in the car on the drive to the airport and missed the part where daddy checked our bags. When mommy whispered, "Cosmo, we're at the airport," I bolted up and grabbed my Mickey Mouse rolling backpack.

I like airports. I like rolling my bag at the airport. I like escalators and moving sidewalks, too. I like airplanes and I especially like drinking apple juice and eating snacks and watching Caillou on the airplane. I even like washing my hands in the airplane bathroom, even though I'm not allowed to touch anything. Mommy said I was a very good boy on the flight. And that flight was extra long because of the man in the bucket who had to spray the wings with green foam. I plastered my face to the window while that was happening and yelled, "Hi man!" He didn't say hi back. But he did spray my window.

Of course I didn't fall asleep on the flight because I didn't want to miss the party. I kept mommy very very busy. We switched from movie watching to coloring to stickers back to movies. The flight attendant working in business class was really nice and let me help her deliver coats. I'm sure the business men loved seeing me drag their coats on the floor.

Oh I almost forgot, there was this pretty baby girl named Sage onboard my flight that the flight attendants were walking up and down the aisle, her mommy was actress Toni Collete, well baby Sage saw me and shrieked with delight. I think she liked me.

When we landed Kelly came to pick us up. I was so excited to see Kelly. Besides mommy and daddy, Kelly is my favorite person in the whole world.

Just hangin with grandma and grandpa...

Here I am just hanging out at grandma's house. This is the couch that I sit on when I watch Caillou with grandpa.

Mommy came to see me today and I showed her all my toys. We played with my trucks and I turned Illyssa and Alyson's doll house into a car wash for my trucks. Aunt Robin came over and brought me presents - a vaccuum cleaner, a mop, and a bucket to put all my cleaning supplies in. Needless to say I was a busy busy boy. Grandma's house cleaner is named Agnes. She's a good cleaner. I know because I cleaned with her yesterday. My favorite thing to clean is the windows. I spray spray spray and then wipe wipe wipe.

Mommy put me to bed tonight and I was so happy to cuddle with mommy I said, I love you mommy and I want to kiss you, mommy, and then I kissed her, which made mommy a very happy mommy. Tomorrow daddy is going to fly into town. I can't wait to play catch with my daddy!

A day in the life of Cosmo

Look at me! I'm wearing my GLUBS. I never got to wear GLUBS in California so GLUB wearing is fun, which is why I wear them all day and night. The only problem is I haven't quite mastered where the thumb goes. I'm about to go mail a letter to all my friends - Layla, Jessica, my cousins, and Avery. What did I write? Well I told mommy what to write and then I colored on the paper, licked the envelope shut and put the stamp on it. I like to write letters because then I get to put the letter in the mail slot and nothing beats putting the letter in the mailbox.

I'm checking Layla's blog. Layla is a silly girl, putting her feet up on the table! HI LAYLA!

This is me at the park sliding down the slide. It was fun, but really cold, so we only stayed for twenty minutes. My nose got sooooo red! And my pants got wet from falling down.

Life in Queens

Hi everybody. I'm still in New York and I'm having a great time with grandma in Long Island. And just when I thought it couldn't get any better, DADDY flew into town! And then again, just when I thought it couldn't get any better, Daddy took me to see Mommy in Queens. Then mommy and daddy came back to grandma's house and we all spent the night together! And just when it couldn't get any better, it started to snow. I knew exactly what snow was because on my favorite episode of Caillou it snows. Snow is cold and slippery, and slippery is a word I didn't know until I came to New York. Look at me with Daddy. We're walking to the park in Forest Hills. Even though Daddy is from New York, he wasn't used to the cold weather. He's wearing mommy's hat! It was too icy to play at the park, but it was fun trying.
Here I am in the elevator at Mommy's apartment building. I'm a big fan of apartment buildings because apartment buildings have elevators and there are lots of people walking in and out all the time and there's also a basement with a laundry room and as you should already know, I love doing laundry, especially in the basement because you get to take the elevator up and down. I also love saying hello to all the old ladies who live in the building, and they love saying hello to me, too.

Boy was it cold outside, but that's okay because when it's cold there's ice, and when there's ice there are crunches to be made with my shoes, because that's what happens when you walk on the snow that has turned to ice. You have to be very careful on the ice or you fall. I've fallen quite a few times already. That's why I like to hold mommy's hand when we walk down the street.

This is the horsey outside of the grocery store where mommy shops for groceries. That horse was broken, but I sat on it and tried to ride it anyway. All the people who passed me tried to give me a quarter. The people in Queens are very nice. Even the man at Dunkin Donuts was nice. He gave me two free munchkin holes when mommy went in to buy a coffee, but I didn't eat them because I don't like donuts. I don't like anything. Just cheese.

See that building way off in the background? That's mommy's apartment building.

Dunkin Donuts, A convenience store, a liquor store, a nail salon, and a pizza place, all across the street from mommy's grocery store and hair salon.

Here's me and mommy outside of her apartment building. We wer playing catch, my favorite game in the whole world.
Would you believe I've spent five days with grandma in Long Island, and then I got to spend two days in Queens with mommy. When I'm at the aparatment with mommy I love to sit in the window and look out at all the tall apartment buildings lit up at night. During the day I like to watch the kids going to school and when the window is open I yell out - HI! HI!
Today I got to swiffer the floor, then I got to mop the floor, and then I helped mommy do the laundry by carrying the detergent and then I carried the money when the detergent got too heavy, and then I got to push the button to turn the dryer on, and then I got to carry the empty hamper back to the apartment. And after dinner I got to throw the trash in the trash chute. Life is good.
Tomorrow grandma is coming to take me back to Long Island for five more days. That's five days with grandma and grandpa and bube and grandma's walking friend Neil and Aunt Rochelle and Stacey and Stacey's son Noah. While I'm having fun with all my peeps, Mommy is going to be missing me very very very much. On Saturday Daddy will come back into town and then Mommy and Daddy will take me back to New York on the 20th. I'm a world class traveler.
Okay bath time. After my bath I put on my Winnie the Pooh slippers that grandma bought me and dance around the living room until it's time to go to bed and read three books about Dinosours under mommy's blue star. When I see the blue star I sing TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STAR and I tell mommy not to turn it off.

Greetings from New York

JINGLE BELLS, JINGLE BELLS, JINGLE ON MY WAY...

That's what I'm singing when this photo was taken, and I can sing the entire song. Mommy has no idea where I learned it. Grandma told mommy that I've been singing non-stop since I've been there. I've also been learning a little Yiddish. I copy whatever grandma says to Bube.

Right now I'm at grandma and grandpa's house in New York while mommy is on reserve this month. I'm having the time of my life! We're talking all the cheese pizza and fish sticks a kid can eat. Every single day grandma takes me to the mall to walk with her friend Neil, and then we all hit the food court for lunch. Today I wanted Taco Bell because I wanted a cheese quesadilla. Didn't I tell you it's cheese cheese and more cheese. Then it's off to play in the kid's area at the mall. At night grandpa and I watch Caillou together. Then Grandpa makes a kid sandwich out of me.

Do I miss mommy and daddy? Not really. In fact, I was a bit disappointed when mommy took me to the apartment in Queens because I wanted to go to grandma and grandpa's house the minute I got off the flight. When grandma and grandpa came over to pick me up, I grabbed my bag and ran to the door. LET'S GO! I said. Whenever mommy calls, and she does call often, I make sure to tell her I MISS YOU, MOMMY and I LOVE YOU, TOO! And then I pass the phone back to grandma because I have a lot of playing to do.

By the way, Mommy still has a lot of videos to post from Christmas, so make sure to check back for those sometime around the 21st when mommy and me are back in Los Angeles...

Christmas day (a little early)

Christmas

Yes, Mommy has been slacking and she knows it! But my mommy is a very busy mommy and had to work over the holidays. Which meant we celebrated Christmas early and I got to have a slumber party with daddy every single night for a week. It was fun! Mommy came home the day after Christmas and now Mommy and me are going to NY for a MONTH! I can't wait to see my grandma and grandpa! In fact this morning I woke up and said...

"I go to NY tomorrow"

Mommy said, "That's right."

I said, "I go to NY, Mommy goes to work, and Daddy stays in California. I'm going to have fish sticks with grandma!" and then I clapped, because nothing beats fish sticks with grandma! Then I said, "I go upstairs and watch TV with grandpa!" So I'm totally ready to go. Mom's not.

As for a few things about me, I've been talking a lot, and watching Caillou as usual, and only eating cheese, although the other day Mommy and daddy took me to this Indian restaurant and I ate a little bit of a curry puff. And though it was good, that place smelled nasty and I said so! "It stinks!" I said. "SHHHH" mommy and daddy said. "It smells nasty" I said. "SHHHHH" mommy and daddy said.

And guess what, I learned how to walk like a penguin because Caillou walked like a penguin the other day. Mommy said, "where did you learn that?" and I said, "Like Caillou!" I also say "ARE WE THERE YET," whenever I'm in the car because that's what Caillou says in the car.

And now for a few photos of me from Christmas time....

Here I am sitting on the table. This is where we left Santa some cookies and milk. I made the cookies and they were yummy. We also left Santas reindeer some rotting carrots that mommy found in the fridge. Would you believe it was all gone when I woke up in the morning!

This is my beautiful tree. I decorated it with mommy. And that's me on the scooter. I'm "SCOOTER MAN!"

Look at all my toys Santa brought me. I was a very good boy and santa is "A GOOD MAN." that's what I told mommy. Mommy agreed.

I got a lot of nice toys, but one of my favorite toys is this digger truck! It's just like the truck across the street.

By the way, Daddy is the one that dressed me in these ridiculous pj's. They're the pj's Noni gave to me LAST YEAR, which explains why they're a little tight, why I look like a wet seal. Now check out the tools, I got lots and lots of tools - from Santa and from Noni! I have TWO HAMMERS, just like I asked for. I walk around and VERY GENTLY bang on the walls.

Now I can't leave home without my tool belt. I even go to the grocery store wearing it. Hey, you never know when you might have to hammer something.
