Greetings from New York!

I'm in New York! Yesterday Mommy and me flew on the airplane. I was a very good boy. That's what everyone sitting around me said. First I slept for two hours. Then I ate a peanut butter sandwich. Then I watched cartoons on the ipod. Then I just looked out the window. Then I read my Oswald book. Then I looked out the window some more. Then I watched more cartoons. And then we landed. The best part about flying....escalators. There are four sets of them at JFK. That's where mommy works.

When I got to the apartment I found Noni waiting for me! I couldn't wait to show her how I hold onto mommy's suitcase and ride it. Noni gave me cheese and mommy gave me milk and then we all went to bed under the blue star. I love the blue star light. Whenever I see it I sing twinkle twinkle little star. And then I found something speciel - LA-LA - from Teletubbies! I slept with La-La all night and then when I woke up I played the catch La-la game!

This morning grandma came over to pick me up and take me to Long Island with her, which is where I'm staying while mommy is working for the next eight days. Of course I packed La-la in my backpack to come along with me. Right now I'm watering the plants with grandpa and tomorrow grandma is taking me to buy a firefighter truck.

Why, mommy, why?

I'm on the airplane in the bathroom with mommy and I go to flush the toilet when mommy yells, "Don't touch anything!"

"Why?"

"Because it's dirty."

"Why?"

"Because it doesn't get cleaned properly."

"Why?"

"Because there's not enough time in between flights."

"Why?"

"Because they turn the airplanes around fast."

"Why?

"Because people have places to go and they want to be on time?"

"Why?"

"Because no one wants to be late."

"Why?

"Because time is money."

"Why?"

"Just don't touch anything!"

"Why, mommy, why?"

Playing the horn

Easter

How do ya like my Easter morning hair? Now I've been waiting for this morning all week. In fact, I spent a good portion of the day yesterday opening and closing the front door.

"What are you doing!" Mommy yelled at me.

"I'm checking," I said, because that's what I was doing, just checking.

"Checking what?" daddy asked.

"For the Easter bunny!" I spent the whole day checking.

Because ever since mommy took me to see the bunny at the mall, I've been waiting for him to come to my house. The funny thing about that bunny is he can't talk. He just walks. And eats carrots and hides eggs and makes this funny face where his eyes go real big and his eyebrows move up and down every so often. Ask me to make the Easter Bunny face and I'll make it for you.

Look, the Easter Bunny brought me a janky bottle of Diego bubbles that don't work. That's okay because I also got this really cool car wash. Somehow that crazy bunny with the funny eyes knew I had an obsession with car washes. I'm so fascinated I know where every car wash in town is located, and I'll tell you so, too. "Car wash on the right! Car wash on the left! Car wash closes at 6!"
