I Clean

I A MONSTER!

Hi. I'm a monster. Whenever I get out of the bath I like to wrap up in an animal towel and ROAR! While I'm ROARING, I say, I A MONSTER, and run looking for daddy, and then when I find daddy, I spread my feet wide, bend my knees, hold up my hands and say I A MONSTER! ROAR! Sometimes I say I A BEAR, ROAR! Even though most times I'm a shark.

Getting Stuck, The Clock says, McDonalds, & My Sombrero

I STUCK, that's my new favorite game to play whenever Mommy and I go to the beach for a BEACH WALK. What I do is pretend to get stuck to the wall, and then I'll say, "STUCK MOMMY STUCK!" Mommy used to help me get unstuck, but then when the 4 mile walk turned into a 2 hour ordeal, she stopped playing and kept walking, so when she keeps walking I start running. "MOMMY MOMMY WAIT FOR ME," I yell, until I catch up to her. When I hold her hand, I say, "YOU FORGOT ME MOMMY!" and Mommy says that she'd never forget me, she'd just come back to get me later, which makes me pretend to get stuck again.

Clocks are my new thing, too. NONI HAS A CLOCK - DING DING, I said last night, and then I added, NONI LIVES IN TEXAS, and then I was back to the clock, because ever since MOMMY told me one night to look at the clock, that the clock said it was time for bed, I look at the clock and say things like CLOCK SAYS IT NIGHT NIGHT TIME or CLOCK SAYS IT BATH TIME. The clock says a lot of things. Especially at night.

"Yes, please, chicken nuggets, cheeseburger, french fries and milk," that's what I say whenever I pick up the phone. Mommy's not so sure why I'm always ordering McDonald's since I barely even eat McDonald's. In fact, I won't even eat french fries, no way jose! And you can forget about hamburgers, though I will do a cheeseburger now and then. However, I do make it a point to just eat the cheese. Mommy's starting to think I might be a vegetarian.

Look what mommy bought me, a sombrero....okay fine, so it's my new big boy potty seat. I'd rather wear it as a hat.

Think I'll take my hat upstairs, and put it back on the potty, the potty I refuse to use.

Turtle hats and space suits

Here I am going on a walk last night. How do you like my turtle hat? I got it at Mason's birthday party yesterday. The best part about Mason's party, was the goody bag, because that's where I found my turtle hat and squirt gun. Boy did I have a blast shooting the squirt gun. Mostly I just shot myself - in the face, but it was fun getting all wet.

Here I am again, wearing the turtle hat, which I like to wear every second of the day, backwards and forwards, depending on my mood, which wasn't all that good when mommy took the photo. Why do I look so upset? Because mommy keeps trying to get me to put on my Halloween costume, which I am not going to wear, no matter how long mommy hangs it on my door. I'm sorry, but that space man outfit IS SCAREY! I DON'T LIKE IT.

Buh-bye!

The other morning I woke up and said, "I go to New York." Mommy said, "No, Daddy goes to New York today. He's going to work. You stay here with Mommy." Then I had to correct her and say, "No, Cosmo goes to New York!"

Mommy just doesn't get it. I totally understand the whole airport, airplane thing now that I've traveled so often and I know what I want, and what I want is to go to the airport. I want to go on the airplane. I want to go to New York. I also want to go see grandma and Noni. I've places to go and people to see. So this morning I put on my favorite baseball cap, grabbed my Mickey bag out of the closet, walked to the back door in my diaper, and said, "Mommy, I go to airport, buh-bye!"

Mommy still doesn't get it because I'm still in the house.

Guess what, big news...I stopped using my potty so mommy bought me a big boy seat that goes on the mommy daddy potty and a stool to go with it, and as soon as I saw that I climbed on the potty and today I...well...you know what I did! And it was very exciting, so exciting I jumped off and said "I DID IT!" and clapped my hands and did a dance with mommy and daddy. Mommy just hopes I keep doing it. Tonight we're going to celebrate, so when I wake up from my nap I'm either going to the pet store to look at the lizards or I'm going on a beach walk. I'll let you know which one it is....

Catching up..

It's been so long I don't even know where to start. Right now I'm on the couch watching my BABY EINSTEIN DDD, or is it my DEE, I can't remember, but it's my favorite one, and I've watched it a zillion times this week. I've spent most of the week on the sofa watching DDD's, because I SICK. Been sick all week with a bad cold. It's not fun. Except for all the cartoon watching.

Mommy took me to the doctor yesterday and guess what, I weigh 27 pounds! No wonder my pants don't fit anymore. I've lost 3 pounds this year AND I've gotten taller. Remember what a chunk I used to be? Remember when the cheerios used to get stuck in my fat thigh rolls? No more. Now I'm a bean pole.

Guess what I'm going to be for Halloween? Yeah, I don't know either. Mommy bought me a silver space man[costume, but I'm scared of it. Whenever Mommy tries to put it on me I go crazy, kicking and screaming NO! Mommy doesn't want to buy me another costume, in case I freak out on that one, too, so worst case scenario, I'll either go as a shark or a puppy because I have these baby towels I love to wear that have a shark and puppy head. After the bath I love to wrap up in one of those towels and then run around the house roaring like a monster. I go ROOOOAAAR! I A MONSTER! While I make my feet real wide and do the monster walk wrapped up in my big towel.

So yesterday I was watching a video of Layla on her blog and in this video she wanted ice, so I wanted ice, too. When I got a cube of ice, which I did not like holding, I tried to give it to Layla. I sat on mommy's lap watching the video and saying HERE LAYLA, HERE! and I held out the ice to Layla. I love my cousin Layla.

Pictures to come later....Mommy is a slacker.

MY TRIP TO TEXAS

Last month I went to Texas. Here I am on the airplane. I've been on so many airplanes mommy lost count. I love to fly, and I'm a really good boy when I fly, which makes mommy proud. Here I am doing my favorite thing to do on an airplane - watch cartoons on the ipod, eat raisins, drink water and apple juice.

Before take off I always make sure to go over the briefing card. I'm mesmerized by it. This gives mommy a good ten minutes of quiet time. Then, after we take off, I look out the window and say, "WOW!" over and over as we fly through the clouds...

Here's my sweet cousin Layla. We're on our way to the Science museum for kids in Dallas. Layla had a BOOBOO on her eye. I was very concerned, so I kissed her every chance I got. Next up is mommy and Layla. Mommy got sandwiched in the back seat of Aunt Holly's car between two car seats. She has no idea how she got in and out...

Here I am at the museum in the water area. What I found out is if I squeeze that duck real hard water comes out, and if I chuck it real hard back into the water, water sprays all over me. What fun!

Here is Layla riding a horsey. Doesn't she look cute?

Well guess what I found at Noni and papa's house....that's right - a broom! I swept their house clean...the entire time! While I was in Texas it rained! A real nice rain. I'm from California so I didn't even know what rain was, but I got to know it well. Mommy let me run through the puddles and play in the rain for a very long time. It was one of the best days I ever had.....

I got to go to grandpa George's house, too. There are cows down the road from his house, and that's where I went every single day. I stood and watched the cows that were far far away and yelled, HI COWS! WHAT ARE YOU DOING COWS! COME HERE COWS! MOOOO! Whenever I went to see the cows I was so excited I'd yell COWS COWS COWS the whole way down, and I'd walk the entire way, but on the way back I refused to walk, and so papa had to carry me.

Like I said, I spent a lot of time visiting the cows...back and forth I went...

There's me and papa when THE MAN came to visit. THE MAN was papa's friend, but I call every man I don't know THE MAN, just like I call every lady I don't know THE LADY and if I don't know you and I walk by you I'll say, THAT'S A LADY, THAT'S A MAN. And if you're lucky enough to sit by me on a flight I'll say HI MAN. And if you fall asleep on a flight, like the man beside us did, I will say very loudly THE MAN IS SLEEPING MOMMY.

Papa George let me ride his tractor. At first I was scared, but if mommy walked along side us I had a great time!

Here I am in the car wearing Mommy's glasses. I spent a lot of time, TOO MUCH TIME, in the car wearing Mommy's glasses, but since we were on our way to see Mimi all that time in the car was fine. I saw a lot of COWS AND HORSEYS on the way.

MY Noni and papa George

Here I am with Mimi. I had so much fun at her home. Whenever her friends would walk in to see her I'd say THAT'S MY MIMI! I held her hand and I leaned against the rail and I said HI MIMI so many times. I think Mimi was glad to see me.

Carmel Weekend

I went to Carmel last weekend and stayed at this really nice hotel in the Valley. The best part about the hotel was the BROOM AND SHOVEL I found by the fireplace, which was great for sweeping the large balcony. I swept for three days straight! Look at daddy enjoying a morning cup of coffee on the balcony with me...

Yes, it's Captain Cosmo, sitting on the steps in Carmel. And here I am with mommy, even though I really didn't want to sit with mommy.

Want to know why I'm so smiley? Because I got to go to the Monterrey Aquarium and see all the fishies. My favorite animal was the OTTER. Did you know that that's my favorite animal, besides DOGGIES, CATS, and ELEPHANTS.

This is my GQ pose. Not bad is it? Here I am with mommy right before we went to dinner in downtown Carmel at a really yummy Italian restaurant where I was so well behaved that everyone in the place came by to compliment me. I'm such a good boy. Sometimes.

Take a look at my BIG balcony / patio. This is where I spent most of my time in Carmel. It was great, especially when it came to running real fast back and forth...

This is where I watched my cartoons at night, with Daddy, under a blanket. It was fun. When mommy tried to sit in MY CHAIR I'd get mad and tell her to STOP IT MOMMY as I pulled her out of the chair. It's MY CHAIR!

Just goofing around with my daddy.

Would you believe that daddy rented a big red truck? I love big trucks! I especially love running around in the back of the big truck.
