Look what mama found. When she saw that she said she doesn't want to know...

Here I am, the big boy in his big boy bed. I love my big boy bed, but only during the day when I'm wide awake. I have the best time climbing on it, standing up and falling down, and then climbing down, just to do it all over again. See my new bed rail. Mama thought that would be a good idea, so I can sleep in the bed, but guess what, it was a bad idea, because I won't sleep in that bed. Just play in it. So last night mama put the mattress back on the floor and I slept through the night. Big beds aren't the only thing this big boy got, I also got the big boy potty! When mama put it together I sat right on it and said, "Pee, pee," and mama said, "pee pee is right!" I love to sit on my new toilet - fully dressed in my spiffy Hugh Hefner Pj's.

Here are photos of me with my three favorite toys...My first favorite toy is my cat ga-ga. He's not the nicest cat in the world, but I do like him a lot. In the mornings he lies on top of mama, and since I'm sleeping next to mama (she rescues me at 5am) I get to pet him, and I get to kiss him, Ga-ga is the only person I kiss with the kissy noise. I do a mmmmm-wah, when I kiss him. And I give him about twenty kisses in a row. I'm not so sure he likes my kissing. My second favorite toy is that piano in the background. I'm a good piano player and when I get a good beat going, I bounce my head up and down to the groove. Look at me playing piano down below. And notice the megaphone....Aunt Holly gave me that megaphone for Christmas and it's one of my most favorite toys in the whole world. Next to Ga-ga. I still haven't quite mastered the turning it on part, but I know I'm supposed to talk into it, and I can make it work real well when mama pushes the button for me.

Look at me showing Ga-ga how to use the megaphone. For some reason he doesn't really like the megaphone. I can't figure out why. I think it sounds really cool when I bang it as hard as I can on the table next to him.

So guess what...the mattress on the floor idea is still a good idea, but I'm still waking up every three hours. When mama comes into the room at night she tells me to lie down, and I do lie down, and then I fall asleep real quick...for three hours...and then I cry all over again.

Today I patted mama on the shoulder and said, Mama. And that made her really happy. Then I said Bobble, bobble, and mama got me a bottle. And then I said BAF! over and over in the middle of the day today. I even ran as fast as I could into the bathroom and stood in front of the tub and said BAF BAF, but mama didn't give me a baf. I also know where the cookies are, and when I want one I can crack the drawer open, and get my arm through the teeny tiny crack, and when I find the right bag, I cry, Cookie, cookie, and then mama will give me the cheese puffs. I call the puffs cookies. Cookies are good. Tonight I had tomato soup. Soup is good too.

Look at me playing with Ga-ga! Ga-ga loves my glow in the dark sword. In fact, he loves it more than I do. And check out my buck teeth. Mama bought that funny pacifier for me when I was just a little baby, but I didn't like them when I was little, but now that I'm all grown up I love it, and when I see myself in the mirror I crack up. Which makes the funny teeth fall out. But then I put them back in my mouth. So I bet you're wondering how mama's sleeping experiment went last night. It was a HUGE success, because I slept almost all night - until 5am! Okay, so I may have woken up at 11:30, like I do every single night at 11:30 - like clockwork, but all mama had to do was lie down beside me, pet my head a couple times, and I was fast asleep again in less than a minute. The mattress on the floor idea was a very good idea. This weekend dada will make my crib until a real bed. A real bed for a big boy.

NO MORE CRIB!

Yesterday I said Diaper, and then I said bobble, which means I want my bottle. And another thing I say, and I say it a lot, is No, no, no! That's what I say when mama tries to put me in my crib, and then I cry and I cry and I cry - FOR HOURS, and when that doesn't work I yell, Da-da, Da-da, Da-da! At the top of my lungs, which brings Da-da to the rescue. Da-da can't stand to hear me yell his name, which is exactly why I yell it. Why all this crying? Because I hate my crib. I haven't slept in it for weeks. Where have I been sleeping you may be asking yourself? Right smack between mama and Da-da - where I belong. Mama can't take it anymore, because when I'm in bed, I spin around in circles like a tornado - all night long. So mama went to my school this morning and asked my teachers what they do to get me to sleep. At school I sleep on a cot. Mama can not believe I actually fall asleep on a cot. In fact, mama pictures all the other kids sleeping and me running around like a wild animal. So...wanna know what my teacher said? She said she does nothing. That I just go to sleep on my own. Mama couldn't believe it. So mama is going to try a new experiment. See me sleeping in the picture, that's what I'm doing RIGHT NOW. I'm sleeping on my mattress, but my mattress is on the floor, not in the crib, and guess what...IT WORKED! I fell asleep on the mattress, not on mama. Tonight will be a big night. Mama is going to let me sleep on the floor, on my mattress, with the baby gate blocking my bedroom door so that I don't escape my room. I'm not sure how I'm going to like this, but if I don't like it rest assured I'll be yelling Da-da, da-da, da-da! until I find myself right smack dab between mama and da-da, spinning around like a tornado...ALL NIGHT LONG.

Little Man

That's what mama's been calling me the last two days...her little man - ever since I got my mullet chopped. With my new do I've started doing all kinds of big boy things. Like wear a pancho. Da-da brought it home from Mexico. I'm wearing it with my checkered Vans and my cool jeans that came all the way from London. I'm such a big boy I ate my first burger from Fatburger. And I ate an onion ring. Today da-da and I hung out together while mama went shopping. Mama did her hair real big and curly and when I saw her coming down the stairs I said "WOOOOOW!" real loud. She looked so good, I ran to her and jumped in her arms and played with her big fat curls.

Look at me this morning...watching cartoons like a big boy. Teletubbies are by far my favorite. Teletubbies and the Wiggles

And this little guy is my new pet. He came and visited me last night. Doesn't he look like Ga-ga? When I saw him I knocked on the door and said, "Kitty Kitty." And then I grabbed my popcorn popper and banged it into the wall until my new pet ran away.

NEW WORDS & A NEW DO

Kitty kitty - when I see the outside cat

Cookie - and then I can switch it around and say Kiecoo, either way, mama knows what I want

What are you doing - That's what I said today while lying on my belly on the floor, trying to look under the bathroom door when da-da wouldn't let me in.

Okay - after mama says okay.

Purple - when I use the purple crayon.

And then I do this new thing over and over. I make my mouth round, like a fish, and then I burst out fake laughing, and I do this a lot. Mama has not yet figured out who I'm trying to imitate yet, but I'm definitely imitating someone.

Oh, and I got a haircut today. Da-da told mama not to cut off my mullet, and mama told the lady with the scissors not to mess with the mullet, but the lady with the scissors chopped chopped chopped a little too much.

13 inches of rain, 7 foot waves, 3 storms in two days, that's what the news is predicting for this weekend. And so we headed to the beach....before things got ugly. Mama, who was ma-me, but is now mama, took me for another one of her looooong and borrring walks. I'm getting a little tired of these walks. I've been doing them since I started growing in her belly. They're just a bit too long for a fidgety guy like me. Speaking of me, there I am in the stroller, getting a little figdety. And I was just getting started. Only four more miles to go....

So what did I see on the walk. Besides the volleyball nets that didn't have nets, I saw balls without volleyball players. There were lots and lots of balls, and when I saw those balls I said "Ball!" and pointed. And I also saw dogs. Lots and lots 0f dogs, but I can't say the word dog yet, so I just pointed and smiled.

See this big house. It's mama's dream house. Whenever we pass this house she sighs and says, One day. And then she leans over and asks, When you make it big, will you buy your mommy a house like that? And I smile. Of course I'll buy my mama a house like that. Oh look...I guess I fell asleep on the walk. I'm glad I fell asleep, because there is too much walking on that walk...

After the walk mama took me to the park. Look at all the little kids at the park...

These are my favorite steps. I go up and down. Up and down. Up and down.

See this big blue slide, I rode it! With mama. We went down it over and over and I said, "weee!" That's me climbing up the big blue slide. It was a really big blue slide. Mama couldn't believe when she saw me climbing it. And she couldn't believe it even more when she saw me get to the top. Of course she was behind me. But she didn't help! I didn't all by myself.

After about ten minutes of sliding, I saw something I couldn't believe...KIDS! And lots of them. It was a school of kids. After the initial shock wore off, I ran after them and guess what, they played with me!

Here's one of the kids. She's a girl. And look, there's another kid. And she's a girl, too

It was crazy, I was surrounded by them, all these girls! And you know what...I kind of liked it.

Happy New Year, Everybody!

This was the best New Year's I've ever had in my entire life. Even though we were all kind of sick, ma-me and da-da took me on a walk at the beach. See, if you look real close, that's da-da's back in that picture. And if you could see around da-da, you'd see me in the stroller. It was such a nice night and al lot of the houses were lit with lights so when I'd see a really really really pretty one, I'd say, "wow!" which meant I said Wow a lot. Kids were running all around and dogs were being walked, so it there was lots to look at and it was very exciting. We walked to the pier and look what I got.... a glow in the dark sword! And a noise maker. The noise maker was just okay, but the sword I liked a lot. I played with it all night and all day today.

After the beach walk and after I ate dinner I did my second most favorite thing in the world. I took a "baf!" See me trying to get Ga-ga into the tub with me. I played him a song with my baf horn. It didn't work. But with all that playing in the tub I got a little thirsty, so I drank the warm bubbly baf water by filling up my plastic purple square. Mmm, good. Want some?

Then today was even more fun than last night. Even though I wasn't feeling very good, ma-me took me to the beach again for another beach walk. She walked and walked and walked while I rode in the stroller and said hello to all the people and all the dogs and all the kids who were also walking. Everyone was walking. After the walk, Ma-me let me run on the sand. That's when I saw kids swinging, so I wanted to swing, too, even though I normally don't like swinging. I'm a slide on the slide kind of guy. But guess what...this time swinging was so much fun that now I like it very much. I'm such a good swinger that I can swing with my head all the way back. When I throw my head back I can look at the beautiful sky. Have you ever seen such a beautiful sky?

My beach is the most funnest beach in the world. Don't you wish you could come and visit me? I'd love to show my new favorite swing.

And don't forget about the beautiful sunsets!
